Internships at Korean Universities?

Hello,

I'm looking for advice on pursuing an internship at a Korean University in the summer of 2012. I am currently working on a Master's Degree in College Student Affairs Administration (put simply, advising services for college students such as admissions, student activities, study abroad, housing, etc.).

I'm not sure where to start. Is there anyone on Koreabridge who might have some suggestions on who to contact?

I am a native English speaker.

I have a Bachelor's Degree and am working on a Master's Degree.

I have one year of Korean language classes.

"caucasians are preferred"

From a job advertised on Koreabridge by Independent Start Korea Inc:

2. Starting Date: a teacher who can start ASAP
* people who have teaching experience are preferred.
* people who come from either America or Canada are preferred.
* Caucasians are preferred.

Please Post Your Opinion/Give Advice

To My Fellow English Teachers,

I have recently been offered a position by the KSU SLP branch and am doing my research before

blindly accepting.

I have heard horror stories about other SLP branches and was wondering whether or not this particular

branch has the same reputation? I know that it is quite a new branch, however any advice or personal

experience about this company would be much appreciated.

Thank you in Advance!

recruiter near PNU

Hi everyone,

When I was last in Pusan, there was a reputable recruiter in the Pusan National University area. She had an office with many clients and was well thought of by many foreign teachers. I just can't remember the name! This goes back to 2005 and earlier.

Do you remember who I am referring to? I would like to do business with her again.

Cheers
