Koreabridge Publisher Overview
Koreabridge aims to aggregate as much interesting Korea-related new media content as possible. To that end, Koreabridge 'publishers' are able to post blog entries, photos, audio, and videos on this site. This is generally a win-win for Koreabridge and publishers. We can provide an ever increasing searchable multimedia database of material about life in Korea while publishers can attract more attention to their creative works and usually see an increase in traffic to their own sites. .
Each publisher can add a signature to their Koreabridge.net account that will appear at the bottom of all of their posts. The signature can include their own google ads, other kind promotional blurb and/or licensing information for the content. To edit your signature, click 'My Account/edit' and fill in the signature field. Whenever your signature is updated, changes will appear on all existing posts.
Content must be related to Korea in some way and abide by our posting policies. We do not accept guest posts or sponsored posts. Each republished post contains a link to the original item and to their main feed page on Koreabridge. Material should be original content and not violate any copyright laws. Publishers maintain all rights to their creative works. Publishers can remove their content from Koreabridge.net at any time, but should be aware that third party sites like archive.org may maintain copies and that we have no ability to have those copies removed.
You can become a publisher by registering for an account, contacting us and letting us know your user ID, the title & URL of your blog, podcast, or videos, and providing a short description. Once we've set up your feed, your posts will be automatically republished on Koreabridge.
Below is more detailed information about different kinds of publisher content.
Blogs
- Publishers' blog posts can be republished on Koreabridge maually by authors or automatically by feed aggregation. Automatic republishing will usually happen within a few hours of being published on the original blog.
- Appropriately tagging blog posts on your own site will help Koreabridge.net feature content specifically related to Korea or a particular Korean city. Bloggers can use tags like 'busan', 'seoul', 'daegu', etc. on their original posts to make sure their posts appear on Koreabridge.net's regional pages (e.g. koreabridge.net/busan , koreabridge.net/seoul , koreabridge.net/daegu ). Other tags will also be transferred so visitors will be able to see all Koreabridge blog posts tagged with 'food', 'sports', 'language',etc.
- We ask that bloggers have their entire posts (as opposed to shortened teasers) republished on Koreabridge.net. This can usually set up by adjusting the RSS settings on your blog.
- Blog posts will be listed in the Recent posts block on the front page and Koreabridge editors will sometimes promote blog posts to the front page 'Featured Content' block at the top of the page. .

Check out Travelling South Korea
I’ve been lucky enough to be able to work completely remotely, and spent 7 years travelling full time before settling down in the UK. Since then I decided to up sticks again and live in one of the best places I’d ever visited – South Korea. https://travellingsouthkorea.com/
