Learning Korean using K-Pop and LingQ

Hi Everyone,

 

I recently wrote a post on how to learn Korean using K-Pop and LingQ. 

 

It basically shows how you can save your songs into LingQ and import their lyrics and translations then turn that into an interactive lesson. For example, being able to follow the lyrics as you listen to them, highlight words or sentences and pull up their meanings, and create flashcards -- all in one platform.

"writing resume properly"

This weekend, I attended one of the local gov. program "writing resume in

English"

Instructor ( korean ) gave us some printouts for a reference.

And I found these odd writings in sample sentences.

Ex 1.: "I enjoy and feel passionate about the assistant manager in the marketing which I think serves as the basis to build a successful career in your company."

Ex 2. : " Your marketing analyst is the ideal platform, in my opinion, on which I can grow as a true professional in the marketing."

what do you think about these sentences?

Private classes to be legal- Petition to Government to consider that !

 I see no reason why they cannot be done with a good e-petition to the authorities via E people. Obviously, there would need to be some safeguards in place to make it a realistic position to argue. There is a clear and continuing demand for these. I think there should be some freedom to work and make money in your free time without being fined for it. It is currently illegal, but I think that could change with a good e-petition. At least make them think about this. 

The key issues seem to me be:

Energyplus or any other building energy simulation prog. expert needed

Hi! I need someone that can use and teach me Energyplus software or something related to simulating energy requirement, consumption, etc. in buildings. I already calculated how energy in building work in comparing different types of rooftop surfaces (ASHRAE std.) using excel, but since further validation and reliability is needed, I need to validate them with related software. Any information on one on one class or anybody that could help me is much appreciated! Seoul is preferable! Thank you!

Favoritism in the Workplace

I was curious to know as to whether anybody had suffered any discrimination in their place of work. I wonder what kinds of discrimination occur more regularly. Do people get better deals, more classes, fewer classes, and better earners?

I also wondered if bigger employers or types of employers discriminated more. Was the discrimination nationality, skin color, looks or gender based? Does anyone feel there is discrimination in the workplace here?

I think you have to earn your corn here. I was wondering if people think you just need looks to get by.

Free photography class

Hello,

I am director of art education association 'Art of Work'.

We will start the photography art program which is 'Walking to the BukSeoul Dream Forest'. Also the tuition fee is free.

I am looking for a people who :
- can speak Korean (intermediate level +)
- want to learn the photography (not commercial)
- can have a time from 9:30 to 12:30
- is interested in fine art
