As Korea is recognized as a new international Wines & Spirits market

Seoul International Wines & Spirits EXPO 2007 (SWS EXPO 2007) was declared a success as it closed in Korea.

The three days, held at the COEX convention & exhibition center, attracted 2,200 trade visitors on these days. The total estimated number of visitors to the SWS EXPO 2007 will exceed 17,000. Trade visitors include wines and spirits importers, wholesalers and retailers to food and beverage professionals.

The most concentration things, the reception, gathered imported companies president and opinion leader who is the most famous and key player in Korea wines & spirits market. It was a great opportunity to promote new exporter’s new product.

The complement the series of events and programs of SWS EXPO 2007 staged in conjunction with the event were well attended, providing especially popular.

SWS EXPO manager office expects wine consumption in Korea to rise to this year over double of consumption by 2009 with the most potential growth in Korea.

Also Asia is the most important wine & spirits market of the world, accounting for nearly 57% of global consumption.
