Every Monday at HQ Bar in Kyungsungdae, we'll be holding a massive video game competition--old school games, new school games, games with Mario, games with Sonic, games for people whose fingers move at the speed of sound, games for people who don't know the difference between the A button and the B button.

Here are the basic rules:

1) Entrants should sign up at the bar by 9:00. If you're unable to make it at that time but want to participate, you can send us a message on our Facebook page.

2) An unseeded tournament bracket will be created. Depending on the game being played that night and the number of participants, we might have single-elimination or best of three formats.

3) House joysticks will be used. No turbo buttons, Game Genies, or anything of that ilk, cheater.

4) The winner of the competition will earn him/herself a 15,000 won tab. You could buy the entire world for 15,000 won!

For the month of June, we'll be doing all Mario games, starting this week with the original SUPER MARIO KART for the Super Nintendo. Dust off your red turtle shells and banana peels, folks!
