DJ GON (KOREA) - Electro, Breakbeat

A member of ‘Breakbakery’ and representative of the underground house label ‘Soulvouse’, DJ GON's interest in music began as a member of ‘Bling’ magazine where he worked for 2 years as an editor. Following this he became free-lance editor of all different kinds of music on the web.

DJ GON started as a Bboy when he was young and following a stint in the Korean army he decided to become a DJ. After moving from Pohang to Seoul to develop his skills, he was selected to be a member in a Pimprock scratch session called ‘Knuckle Joe’ in 2003 and has since played many performance in Hongdea and around Seoul.

Worked with electronic tango duo called ‘Orian Tango’ from Argentina on their 3rd album. His remixes and original songs have appeared on channel TBS & DNB called ‘Seoul to the Soul’. He is now a resident at club ‘Answer’ where he plays strong electronic music. DJ GON continues to play breakbeat at the event 'Floppy Disco' with his crew.

DJ GON other projects include organizing the team ‘Starsheep’ with guitarlist ‘Mayo’ which is gaining further notoriety.
