Dwaeji gukbap is a food that is uniquely Busan. I'm sure if you search hard enough you could find it somewhere in Seoul. However, in Busan, it is their pride and joy. No effort finding a dwaeji gukbap restaurant in Busan. Dwaeji (pig/pork) gukbap (rice soup) is my favorite dish in Korea.
Second is an offshoot of dwaeji gukbap which is called sundae gukbap or "pig's blood sausage soup". Doesn't sound appetizing, but believe you me - it is. It's basically dwaeji gukbap with slices of blood sausage in it.
Join John and I as we eat our favorite comfort food in Korea.
