After a break, finally the SHOWCASE REBOOT series continues. From now on, the SHOWCASES in the first floor will be presenting some of the finest artists this city and the PLATOON network has to offer. for this round, we are proud to announce a collaboration with SUPER SKETCH artists, SSEO, CASPER KANG, GRACE HONG, and LIONEL WILLIAMS.

Come and meet the artists on the opening night on FEB 16 at 7pm!

· SHOWCASE A: SSEO used to love drawing ever since she was a little kid. after attending arts high school, she earned a degree in western painting at chugye university for the arts.

· SHOWCASE B: CASPER KANG was born in 1981 in toronto, canada. he completed his B.A.S. (Architecture) at Carleton university. in 2004, he moved to seoul where he worked for several architectural firms over a period of about 2 years. feeling disillusioned by society, and also due to his affinity towards art since childhood, he quit his job to pursue a career as a painter, which he hopes to maintain for decades. inspired by modern social conditions, the visual forms and subject matter of his work draw from such outlets as popular culture, materialism, cultural identity, and capitalism.

· SHOWCASE C: GRACE HONG is an artist/writer/printmaker and a recent graduate with a BFA in printmaking/drawing from washington university in st. louis. she has exhibited abroad as well as within her home country. her work questions established modes of interaction within interpersonal relationships and often takes the form of a structured game to encourage audience participation and to call attention to the implicit rules we follow.
