Events Over the Weekend

Need some gayness this weekend? There are a couple of special events going on if bar hopping on the hill isn't your thing.
On Saturday, Gay Friends in Seoul will be going to Seorae Village to do some shopping and enjoy French town. It is a cute area of Seoul and I recommend going if you haven't been yet. GFIS will be meeting at 1 pm at the Seorae Global Village. To get there, take subway lines 3 or 7 to express Bus Terminal. Go out exits 4 or 5 an take the #13 bus. Get off at Seorae Global Village stop.

If you want something a bit more, I don't know, raucous, you could go to Moon Night for the Sea of Fire party. Moon Night is a pretty queer place, known for their drag and burlesque performances. The Sea of Fire party will start at 5 pm and go til who knows when. Live bands, drinking and dancing. More information can be found on Facebook.

If you wake up on time, you can join Gay Friends in Seoul for brunch in Hanam Dong (near Itaewon). They are heading out for pancakes at Pancake Original Story at noon followed by the Samsung Museum of Art for some culture. If you want to join, you can meet at Hannam Station exit 1 at noon. If you only want to do the art viewing, meet at the ticket both of Samsung Museum of Art at 2.
