Come out for this year's second beach volleyball tournament at Gwangali Beach!

The tournament is being sponsored by Sharky's Gwangali and HQ Bar Kyungsung. Teams must be four players, mandatory co-ed (one or more girls), no substitutions. Tournament play is double elimination.

The entry fee is 20,000 won per person/80,000 won per team, and will be collected on the day of the tournament. Once you've gotten a team together, please post on the wall with the names of all four members and designate a captain

. Captains should collect the money from their teammates and give it to me upon arrival on the 8th. There must be an even number of teams signed up by the day before the tournament (September 7th). If there is an odd number of teams, I the remaining team may be an alternate in case of a no-show on tournament day. For example, if there are 11 teams signed up by the 7th, the last team to post can come on the tournament day to replace any of the first 10 posted teams if they don't come.

Teams captains must check in with me between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. on the morning of the tournament to let me know all team members are present. The bracket will be announced at 11:00 a.m. along with rules about tournament play. We will have three courts set up so the tournament should run more quickly this time.

Prizes:
First place team will receive a cash prize and a bottle of liquor from Tom and Andrew at HQ.
Second place team will receive a cash prize and Sharky's appetizer coupons.
Third place team will receive a cash prize.
All participants will receive breakfast on the day of the tournament (fruit, croissants, juice) and a coupon for a free domestic draft or free well mixed drink at Sharky's with purchase of any dinner item.
Also, everyone is also welcome to come hang out at Sharky's after the final game!

We are organizing this tournament to help cover the cost of new equipment we recently purchased for the group. A portion of the entry fees will go to that fund and another portion will be used for prize money. The more teams sign up, the bigger we can make the prizes. We want it to be a fun day for everyone. People of all skill levels are encouraged to form teams and come out and play.

See you on the beach!
