Hong Seok-cheon on Healing Camp

Hong Seok-cheon appeared on Healing Camp earlier this week. He talks about his life before and after he came out in 2000, including his past relationships, his parents, being 'the most famous gay uncle', and discrimination in Korean society. It is great that he was asked to be on the show and it seems a good step for Korea that he was able to talk frankly on a popular TV show. As much as I hate Korean television with its cheesy graphics and ridiculous sound effects, I did enjoy this episode. Maybe cause I have a kindergarten crush on Hong Seok-cheon. The show, for now, is only available in Korean. It is a bit long, but definitely enjoyable. I don't feel bad that these shows are streaming, because I'm pretty sure Healing Camp probably didn't ask for permission to use a portion of Hathaway's I Dreamed a Dream in the last two minutes of the video...
