On Saturday, Wolfhound hosted a gay pride party. Wolfhound is the first bar I ever went to in Seoul, so it has a special place in my heart.
The festivities started around 10 pm with a performance by new-to-the-scene drag queen 'Lana del Seoul'. She performed a couple of songs to the crowds delight and was followed by I. Rhonda World.

Later in the night there was a lip-sync performance. The Kimchi Queen herself took part and won her first round with a rendition of Wannabe. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep the crown during my second performance of I Kissed a Girl. C'est la vie. I did enjoy my second place prize of two drinks, however.
While the patrons were quite pleased with the drag performance, I definitely have seen much better drag in Seoul. Sorry boys. It was a good night, but just a tease of the fabulousity of queens in Seoul. Nevertheless, I hope this becomes a tradition at Wolfhound. I love gay nights at straight bars!
