I've been to Moon Night in Itaewon quite a lot, yet have yet to write a post, which is a shame because it is a fine establishment. What it is especially great for are the frequent drag shows. During pride, there were some pretty great Korean and waygook queens.

You can see plenty of drag queens over at Moon Night's facebook page to get a taste of an evening at Moon Night. They also have non-drag performers. Way back in January, I saw the fantastic Tommy Sharp and his band The Studs Lonigan Experience. God they are great (but no longer in Korea).

While most gays don't tend to use Moon Night as a bar to find partners, they certainly have a good time. The crowd is usually a mixture of queers and straights, men and women, which is great when you aren't on the prowl.

On Friday and Saturday night, there is usually a cover. However, sometimes you can get in for free if you get yourself on the guest list and get there early. If you do have to pay cover, however, you will normally get a free drink. Drinks are standard fare for the hill. Not too pricey but not as cheap as a straight drinking establishment.
