Overview:
Toronto International English Academy (TIEA) is hiring one teacher to teach classes from 2-6pm (elementary & middle school students) starting September 2023. We are located in Ilgwang, Busan (a 19-minute train ride from Bexco Station).

Background:

Founded in 2022, TIEA's mission is to produce confident and effective communicators in English. We use top-quality internationally developed curriculum and program resources to facilitate students' rapid development of reading, writing, speaking and listening. As educators, we believe in life-long learning and continually striving to increase our teaching skills and the effectiveness with which learning outcomes are achieved. Our students range from beginners to students who have studied or lived abroad for several years.

Candidate's Requirements:

• F-VISA holder / Korean Native
• Native English Speaker / fluent 
• 4 year bachelor degree
• 2 years + teaching experience
• passionate educator
• professional, punctual, detail oriented, results driven
• develops a good rapport with students, parents and staff
• welcomes and quickly adapts to constructive criticism
• socially and culturally aware
• Korean language (preferred)
• Korean MS/HS test preparation experience (preferred)

Work Hours & Remuneration:

• 1pm-7:00pm
• Compensation to be discussed during the interview
• *No VISA sponsorship
