Yes, it's back!

We are brimming with excitement to invite you to the seventh edition of Busan's only funk & soul dance party, FUNKED UP & SOULED OUT. 

It's happening FRIDAY MAY 4th at the legendary VINYL UNDERGROUND in the Kyungsung University area. 

Featuring DJ sets by the Better Magic Music Co.:

- Big Boy Gibbs (Motown/Rhythm & Blues)

& Woody Wilson (Northern Soul/Boogaloo) 

Description:

Starting in January of 2010, Funked Up & Souled Out has been a staple of the Busan night scene since its inception. It's a night for everyone, young and old, to enjoy the sounds from a golden era of music. It's a chance for the people of Busan, both foreign residents and locals, to come together and remember the songs that so much of our music today is based around. And most importantly, it's a great way for us to party in celebration of a time that was about peace, love and happiness. 

The party is about you and the music. Dress to impress with your favorite 60s/70s fashion items, or just enjoy the good vibes on the floor. As always, the dance floor will occasionally be split down the middle for the good ol' Soul Train dance-off, with a rewarding shot of Better Magic's Lovin' Juice at the end of the line.

Funked Up & Souled Out is always packed by midnight, so get there early! Good times are guaranteed.
