AND We're BACK!!! The Boys Town Orphanage was thrilled with our last visit. The smiles and laughter coming from the boys stayed with us throughout our day. :) So much fun. Join us for our next visit this Saturday February 19th!!

There are 500 Children at the Boys Town Orphanage! I think these kiddos really need our help. Can you imagine how difficult it must be to stand out and find some individual attention in a population tha...t large?!

Our group will be playing with about 30 or so of the kids in two separate team. The older boys will play basketball and the younger kids will have games and activities created by our coordinator, Alena! Volunteers can choose to participate in whichever group they like.

12:30-12:45 We will meet at Jagalchi Station "meeting place" inside the station (near exit 7)

1:30pm-3:00pm Spilt into two groups. Half of the teachers will play with the kindergarten and elementary kids. The other half of the teachers will have some simple getting to know you warm up with 10-20 middle schoolers and then go off to play basketball with them. They have a huge basketball court there!

These kids almost never eat sugar or eat junk food so if everyone brings a family pack of something sweet, I'm sure it'd make there day even more special. ALSO-bring your ARC card! Naturally, the staff is cautious of who they allow in contact with the kids so they may want to photocopy it.

With your help we can make a lasting positive impression on these young minds. Let's make English fun! That said, some of these kids have been through a lot, please RSVP with integrity. The more people they can relate to as a role-model and trust the better, right?
