Where to find roast beef

Does anyone know where to get some roast beef- I found the online deli guy, but his prices are extremely high for roast beef. I went to costco, but they don't carry American beef, I guess because of the beef ban in Japan and I know that the costcos in East Asia are all headquartered in Japan.

Any suggestions--- Thanks!!!

Pasta Factory Closed?

I tried to go to the Pasta Factory today and it was all torn out. Shocking. Anyone know what's going on? I can't imagine the place is closed down, but I asked one of the workers if he knew what was up and he said something new was moving in. Did Pasta Factory re-locate?

American Chinese in Nampo-dong

This weekend I went to have dinner at The Terrace (The Pan, food was great).  There are a few signs on the building advertising a new American Chinese place.  I don't remember the name, but I think it's in the building that is behind The Terrace if you walk in the doors between The Pan and The Cafe.

Anyone tried it yet?

New Indian Restaurant in Haeundae

Last night my friend and I wanted to have Indian food in Ganga, but when we arrived there, about 10 people were waiting in line, so we decided to go somewhere else.

Then we found Namaste, the new Indian restaurant (3 branches in Seoul though), which is very close to Ganga.

We ordered two curry (lamb and chicken) and two nan. one rice...

Their main dishes are $3 cheaper than those in Ganga in average, but quality is VERY good.

This dinner cost us ~35000won.

New salad bar in Haeundae at SFUNZ

SFUNZ (Haeundae, just past the train station) has recently finished a complete renovation. One of the new restaurants is a salad bar.

I at there and it was excellent. Good chicken. Lots to eat for vegetarians, too. The front end greeter speaks very good English and I noticed a lot of foreigners for lunch.

Ashley Grill & Salad is located on the far end (the street end, Pizza Hut end [gone now]) on the fourth floor. They are open from 11 to 11 everyday.

Really good semi-western style BBQ in Dongnae

I am from Texas, and seeing as we have the  best food in the world, coming to Korea was quite the transition.  To those of you that have decided to keep reading past my arrogant nonsense you are in for quite a treat. Although I love pretty much any food I've had here (especially Korean BBQ)  I really miss the taste of southern BBQ.  One tailgate favorite of mine in school was always beer can chicken.  For those of you that haven't tried it, it's basically a whole chicken sodomized by a beer and marinated to perfection as it cooks.  There's a chain around Busan who is doing it up right.
