Qualified Non-tenure track assistant professor

Gimhae, Inje Unlversity

  We are seeking qualified and experienced professors to teach Inje university students in Gimhae. Our facilities are fully equipped and we have a large number of foreigners already working here. We also have a professional and committed staff to support your needs.

Position Description:

Position title: Assistant Professor

Department: Department of Liberal Arts

Teaching Content: English Conversation

Persons: 1

Reference: Applicants should be a native English speaker

Qualifications:

1. Applicant should have a master's degree.

2. E-1, E-2, F-2, F-6 visa holders.

3. Applicants must have at least two years of teaching experience in Korea (ESL/EFL teaching)

  -Teaching experience at the university level in Korea, preferred.

Duration of Employment: September 1^st, 2024 ~ August 31^st, 2026 (Renewable).

Salary and Duties:

1. Salary: 36,264,000 Korean won per year. (300,000 won per month extra housing benefit)

2.  Duties: A minimum of 14 teaching hours per week, 5 days a week.

   Overtime pay will be compensated in the case of teaching more than 14 hours per week.

1. Application Form (We have own form, please check the attached file.)

2. Resume: Please include a passport photo of yourself.

3. Cover Letter: Please include your work background, teaching experience (especially at the University level) and reasons for applying to Inje University. (We have own form, please check the attached file.)

4. One copy of each of your diploma(s) and one copy of each of your certificate of transcripts. (Two sealed certificate of transcripts. This certificate must be sealed by university officials.)

5. Letter of Recommendation (At least one from a Korean person).

6. Certificates of experience/reference or proof of employment.

7. One copy of ESL, TESOL certificates or any other related qualification certificates.

8. One copy of your passport photo page

9. One copy of your Alien Registration Card (if possible).

10. Consent to Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information (We have own form, please check the attached file.)

11. Issuance of a criminal background check (Only for successful candidate).
- A criminal record check which covers your whole country, and also from your country's government. 
- The records must be affixed with the relevant nation's Apostille.

12. Four colored passport photos of you. They must be 3x4cm (Only for successful candidate).

13. Thesis (if possible).

※In the case of a copy of the submitted documents, the original copy’s must be submitted during the interview. We will check and return it to you at a later date.

Further Remarks

1. The final successful candidate will be appointed as a non-tenure track assistant professor on September 1^st, 2024.

2. Individual notice shall be given only to those who are interviewed.

3. In the event of an unqualified applicant being discovered subsequently to have been accepted or hired on the basis of false information provided in the application form or falsification of supporting documents, the contract terms and conditions there in will be rescinded.
