Originally from Mexico City, Her Excellency Martha Ortiz de Rosas Gomez serves as the Ambassador of Mexico to the Republic of Korea, non-resident Ambassador to Mongolia, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.  A proponent of strengthening economic and political ties between Mexico and the Republic of Korea, Ambassador Ortiz de Rosas Gomez is a frequent lecturer on the importance of international organizations and international law. She has served as the Ambassador of Mexico to Australia, non-resident Ambassador to Papua New Guinea and the Republic of the Fiji Islands, and has worked at the United Nations and as a delegate to various international conferences. Her Excellency has been posted in missions in Geneva, Canada, and the United States. She has been a member of the Mexican Foreign Service since 1971 and is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Italian.
