My Korean colleagues and I decided to eat raw horse meat. It was my decision! It's a popular delicacy in Jeju island, South Korea. In fact, horse meat has quite a history, which spreads throughout many cultures, even in the Western world.
I couldn't leave Jeju island without eating it. It was a regular Thursday evening and the thought just popped in my head. "Hey, you guys wanna eat a damn horse?" Laughter obviously ensued and nothing made the evening more random than ACTUALLY going.
"I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse"—this popular idiom kept occurring the entire night, sparking immature giggles and conversations about people's perception of what's considered taboo. Try it...it was delicious. Onelove!
