Beauty Standards in K Pop Culture: IU, Minah Shin, and Hyori Lee

Join Kris Holowicki and Melissa Brown as they hit the streets of Insadong and get a keen perspective of the difference between Eastern and Western beauty standards. In Part I they used three of the biggest pop idols in South Korea: Hyori Lee, Shin Min-a, and IU. Both Korean men and various men of different cultural backgrounds selected which idol star they found most attractive. After the the polling was completed, they were able to determine the difference between cultures regarding what they found beautiful in the opposite sex. In Part I, to be released soon, they analyze the difference between womens' perspective regarding beauty standards. Stay tuned for that episode of "Korea: Blown out of Proportion." They will be taking a look at the three hotest male idol stars: Hyun Bin, Won Bin, and Top.
