A couple of weeks ago (okay, more like a month ago–stop judging us for being cyberslackers!), Ric and I were invited to visit Busan’s Trick Eye Museum with our friends Ryan and Julia, who also teach here in Busan. While we knew that the museum specialized in optical illusions, we were unprepared for the fact that the Trick Eye Museum fully expects its visitors to become part of said illusion. Visitors are encouraged to photograph themselves interacting with a variety of 2D images painted on the buildings walls and floors. There are even costumes in the kid’s section! With that said (typed?), I’m just going to let our photos speak for themselves. These are only a brief survey of the hijinks we engaged in at the Trick Eye Museum. A good time was had by all, and, if you’re in Busan, we highly recommend a stop by the Trick Eye Museum. It’s located near the Oncheonjang subway stop under Heosimcheong Spa, reputedly the largest spa in all of Asia.
