Monday 14th March 2011.

I spoke to Daniel last night and he arrived safe and well in South Korea. He told me he could feel the aftershocks while he was in transit in Narita. I can't imagine what that would be like.

Today, a Nuclear Reactor at Fukushima in Japan has exploded. This is not good. This poor country has already suffered enough, the earthquake, the tsunami and now a nuclear reactor. I was starting to really worry, as I was due to fly out in two days. South Korea is so close to Japan and the possibility of radiation spreading to neighbouring countries is quite high.

After going through my options and discussing it with Daniel, my parents and his, I've decided to delay my flight for the following week. I figured, in a week, things should settle. Hopefully.
