Birthday Post!!

Well it is my birthday so I thought that I would drop a quick post in here and share some thoughts about the year gone by. I must say that this has been a great year and one that I will remember for a long time. Photographically it has been great too.

I don’t want to go on and on  about what I have or haven’t done, but it is suffice to say that I am pleased the amount of exposure that I have received and I know that I am going to build on it next year. I was published a few times, I got some awards, and I sold a few photos. For me, I am pretty happy with that. However, I did get to meet a few awesome people both in person and through the internet and I am grateful for that.

I have also learned a lot this year. I did some event photography and learned  the importance of professionalism and the many benefits that it brings. I learned that you must reset your passwords often, keep up your firewalls, and be careful with your wordpress themes. I learned more about web security this past year than I would care to.

I guess what a birthday for a photographer in Korea really boils down to is that perhaps someone will send him a new 5D MarkIII… um I mean… wait… It means the chance to get out and shoot with more people and get some great shots of this amazing country. I have been here for a long time and I still love taking pictures of it.

Lastly, I would like to thank you all for reading this little blog and sticking with me through the down times and the busy times. I promise you that there are bigger and better things coming in the next chapter of my life. I also hope that I get out and meet a few of you along the way.
