It’s a busy week here, folks. Since Ric and I have our first hapkido belt test on Saturday, we are currently devoting more time to punching and kicking than blogging, so I’ll just share with you a quick visual of our life here in Korea. As you know, it’s that post-Thanksgiving, holiday head rush time of year. The photo below shows the ENTIRE Christmas section at our local HomePlus, a three-story megastore where you can buy (almost) anything.
The second photo below shows the ramen noodle aisle at our local 7-Eleven-esque convenience store. Something may be wrong here.
However, dear readers, lest you despair over our lack of Christmas tidings of comfort and joy, rest assured. We do have a Christmas tree. And it fits perfectly in our closet of an apartment.
Fa-la-la-la-la, y’all.
