2023 Summer English Camp Teacher Wanted
1. Location: Soongsil University, Seoul
2. Position Available: Around 40 (Visa Type: F2, F4, F5, F6, E1, E2)
* Please, indicate your visa type.
※ Teachers who arrived from abroad within 1 week before the opening of the camp are unavailable to apply.
3. Working Conditions
□ A Type: 4 weeks
a. Schedule
⦁ Training Session: 2 days (July 18th ~ July 19th) * Mandatory
⦁ Camp: 20 days (July 24th ~ August 18th, 2023)
※ August 15th(Tue.) is a national holiday in Korea HOWEVER, due to the camp schedule, the classes will be held normally.
b. Working Hours: 09:00 am - 05:00 pm (Mon. - Fri.)
c. Total Amount Received: Around KRW 4,050,000 (₩ 4,050,000)
※ The Total Amount Received mentioned above includes ‘the Evaluation Allowance’ and ‘the Participation Allowance for one level test’.
※※ Since the participation allowance for one level test is already included in the total amount received, participating in one of the level tests is mandatory. (*You can choose which date you would like to participate in after checking the level test schedule below.)

⦁ Make Lesson Plan and Syllabus
⦁ Make Achievement Test Sheet
⦁ Write Evaluation Reports

□ B Type: 2 weeks
a. Schedule

b. Working Hours: 09:00 am - 03:00 pm (Mon. - Fri.)
c. Total Amount Received: Around KRW 2,100,000 (₩ 2,100,000)
※ The Total Amount Received mentioned above includes ‘the Evaluation Allowance’ and ‘the Participation Allowance for one level test’.
※※ Since the participation allowance for one level test is already included in the total amount received, participating in one of the level tests is mandatory.(*You can choose which date you would like to participate in after checking the level test schedule below.)

4. Participants
a. Elementary Students
b. Class size: Around 15 students
5. Qualification
a. A valid passport from one of the following native English-speaking countries; USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia and South Africa
b. A minimum of a Bachelor degree from an accredited four-year university
c. Teaching experiences more than a year
d. Give preference to
⦁ Teaching experiences more than 3 years in regular schools or institutes
⦁ Major in English or Education
⦁ Master’s or higher degree in an English-related field
⦁ Certifications (ex. TESOL, TEFL etc.)
e. All classes are available only in English
6. Required documents
a. Resume (* your recent picture must be attached)
* Your resume needs to include your nationality, contact information, education/employment history.
b. Cover letter
c. Scanned copy of your passport information page
d. Scanned copy of Alien Registration Card (both front & back side)
e. Copy of bank book, Certificate of last degree (Only for selected applicants)
7. The process
a. Submit required documents via email only

⦁ Please indicate which camp you would like to join and also which level tests you are available to participate in as well
※ The class schedules of the 2 weeks camp and the 4 weeks camp clash, so you can only participate in one of the camp programs.
b. Applicants selected for interview and teaching demonstration will be notified in due time
※ Interviews will be held through Zoom
