WordZ Only 47

Hey Folks!

The Spoken Word scene is STILL on quite a roll these days! And there's more to come! 

Wordz Only, a child of Poetry Plus, is back for another night of righteous Spoken Word: poetry, short stories, personal narratives, limericks, sonnets, rhymes, murmurs, hollers, chants, rants, & tall tales. First-timers, old-timers, slammers are ALL encouraged to join in on "what happens next is what happens next."

We will have TWO Feature performers:

*Dennis Feeheley. His book "Travelin' Man: Across the Sahara and Beyond," was published in 2014 by Park Hampton Press. It reached number 51 on Amazon's Best Seller List. 

*Kenneth "K" May, founder of Poetry Plus, WordZ Only, and the Liquid Arts Open Mic and Workshop in Busan, will say poems from his thematic poetry collection, "little moments of being." 

In addition to the two features, we also have six 5 minute spots & two 10 minute spots available for sign ups on a first come, first serve basis. We'll take a brief intermission & conclude within two hours. 

Furthermore: WordZ Only is please to announce pre-event and post-event musical sets featuring Sharlien Schwarz, Conor Doron, Courtney Refroe on a variety of stringed instruments, including cello, with Gordon Robert Bazsali Jr. on trumpet as well. 

*The Vinyl Underground is a legendary cavern club which has hosted many of the classic expat events over the last eleven years.

To get there: In Kyungsung (subway stop 212). Go up exit 3 and keep walking straight. Starbucks is on your right. Turn right at the first street and walk 2.5 blocks. On your right, a sign with the Warhol banana, head down the stairs and glide right in.
