Bridget and the Puppycats is a sweet indie-folk pop-rock-sock group that plays the songs of Bridget Martin with an often quirky instrumentation including Cassie Norton (violin, ukelele), Tim McManus (accordian, toys), Mike Dowding (bass, formerly of Choo Choo Taxederby fame), Becca Baldwin (vocals, toys, percussion), and Brad Wheeler (drums, of St John the Gambler and On Sparrow Hills fame). The Puppycats have played all over Seoul, including Round Robin, Recandplay.net showcase, and as a support act for Mt. Eerie (The Microphones).

"Lead by the band’s tall, leggy, and blonde namesake, the group plays sweet indie folk lullabies filled with jingly jangly sounds that remind you of summer and holding hands with your first girlfriend." -- Sold/Out Seoul 4/10

"A pure and piercing voice... Acousitc singer/songwriters may be a dime-a-dozen, but this one has something special." --Andy Hazel, Inpress (gig review), Melbourne

"Martin's sound takes in parts country, slacker indie rock, grubby cherub pop, and she likes to be free to scream and shout. Her lo-fi DIY attitudes colour her as something of a country punk, an unofficial signpost she doesn't mind orbiting." --Lenin Stamos, Db Magazine, Adelaide
