This Gyeongju festival features Korea’s traditional liquor and rice cakes. Visitors can sample and shop for a selection of mouth-watering delicacies not only from Gyeongju but also from a variety of other regions in Korea. The free liquor sampling booths and the tea ceremony, which is served in royal costume, are some of the most popular events for international visitors who are interested in Korea’s fascinating dining culture. Apart from the festival, Gyeongju is a major tourist destination in Korea.Neighboring sites that should not be missed include Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto |

1.From Seoul Station, Take a train(KTX) for Singyeongju (5:30am~10:00pm, departs every 30min-1hr/ est. travel time of 2hrs) From Singyeongju Station, take a bus #203 to Hwangseong Park.
2.From Seoul Express Bus Terminal, take a bus for Gyeongju (6:05am~11:55pm, departs every 25min-1hr 30min/ est. travel time of 4hrs 30min). From Gyeongju Terminal, take a taxi (3000~4000 won) or bus 271, 272, or 277 and get off at Hwangseong Park (4 to 5 stops from the terminal). |
