In order to revitalize Sangju and establish a sustainable rural community, young people gathered in Seonggok village and established a sustainable rural community through environmentally-friendly farming. In 2002, they started a rural-urban exchange project and, through the efforts of the villagers, were designated a green rural experience village. Join us for the ISC’s 2015 farming exposure trip, as we work the earth alongside farmers in the afternoon, and share meal and talk on Korea’s agriculture and food in the evening. 

 

<Program>

- September 5th: arrival at Sangju Bus Terminal by 10 am and farm work and discussion with farmers

- September 6th: farm work and departure after lunch
