Chess Tournament

·     When: May 5^th 2016    
Round 1 begins at 10 am (Arrive 30 min early)

·     Location: Busan Global Village, Seomyeon

·     Registration cost: FREE

·         Bring your chess sets and clocks if possible, extras will be provided.

·         The tournament will be 3-rounds, Swiss-style pairings

·         No cell phones or computers are allowed in the tournament room during game play

·         30 minute limit per game (with or without chess clock). If the game is not complete by that time, an overtime of 10 minutes with a chess clock will be used.

·         FIDE ratings will not be used for this tournament

·         Please include the participant’s full name and age (with birthday month, day and year)
Please have your child prepared to play 3 consecutive games. Late registration in person at the tournament site is allowed. Late registration on-site ends at 9 am May 5^th

Rules of tournament play

·         Total silence during play. Players are not allowed to speak with their opponent except to say check or adjust. If there is any question or problem of any kind, the player will raise their hand and the Tournament Director will address the issue.

·         Touch move will be in effect. If you touch a piece you must move that piece. If you let go of a piece it must stay there.

·         Notation of the games is not required but strongly recommended. If there is any disagreement concerning the game, notation is used to sort things out. Without any notation, problem resolution will be determined by the TD.

·         During the game, players are allowed to leave the tournament room to go to the bathroom. Any bathroom trip longer than 10 minutes will result in a loss for that round. It is the responsibility of the player who leaves to remember the position of the board.

체스 토너먼트

● 일시 : 2016년 5월 5일,
오전 10시부터 (30 분 일찍 도착하세요)
● 장소 : 부산 글로벌 빌리지, 부산 서면
● 참가비 : 무료

• 참가자가 갖춰야 할 요건은 체스를 두는 법을 알아야 하는 것입니다.

• 체스 세트와 체스 시계를 가져오시고 없으면 여유분을 주최 측에서 제공합니다.

• 토너먼트는 3라운드까지 실시됩니다.

• 토너먼트가 이루어지는 장소에서는 휴대폰과 컴퓨터 사용이 금지됩니다.

• 각 경기는 30분간 진행되며(체스 시계 없이), 만약 경기기 끝나지 않으면 10분의 연장전이 있으며 그 때에는 체스 시계를 사용합니다.

• FIDE(국제 체스 연맹) 순위는 이 토너먼트에 반영되지 않습니다.

아이들이 3번 연속으로 게임에 참가할 수 있게 해주십시오. 토너먼트 장소에서도 참가 신청을 하실 수 있습니다. 온라인 참가 신청 마감은 5월 5일 오전 9시까지입니다.

토너먼트 경기 규칙

• 경기 중에는 조용히 합니다. “체크”라고 말하거나 체스 말(pieces)들을 정리할 때 이외에는 상대편과 얘기해서는 안 됩니다. 만약 질문이나 문제가 있으면 손을 드세요. 그러면 토너먼트 진행자가 해결할 것입니다.

• 하나의 체스 말(piece)을 건드리면 그 말(piece)을 움직여야 합니다. 한번 움직인 말(piece)은 그 자리에 두어야 합니다.

• 게임 기록은 꼭 하지 않아도 되지만 적극 권장합니다. 만약 두 참가자 간에 의견차가 발생하면 기록된 내용으로 해결할 수 있습니다. 만약 기록된 내용 없이 문제가 발생하면 토너먼트 진행자가 해결할 것입니다.

• 게임 진행 동안 참가자들은 화장실에 갈 수 있습니다. 시간은 10분이 주어지며 10분이 넘을 경우 그 라운드에서 지게 됩니다. 자리를 떠날 때에는 본인이 체스 판의 모든 말들의 위치를 기억하고 떠나야 합니다.
