In association with Daejeon Cares, DISG are planning on giving Christmas gifts to kids at two orphanages here in Daejeon -Jayhyewon and Jeongrimwon- this winter.

Daejeon Cares is a collective of expats and Koreans, like yourself, who offer their time and effort to helping those in need. Daejeon Cares volunteers have already collected 'Letters to Santa' from the kids the orphanage and the items the kids wished for are worth approximately 20,000-40,000 won each.
In order to fulfill the wishes of the children and bring some festive joy to their faces, we hope to raise 1.8 million won to buy all of the presents for both orphanages.
 
We are going to place a donation box at the party for those who wish to contribute and DISG is going to donate 500,000 won, no matter what is raised at the party, to help this worthwhile cause. Also, anyone wishing to join us when visiting the orphanages to drop off the presents is more than welcome! We really hope you will help us reach our goal for Daejeon's 2nd 'Toys for Orphans' event! 


Christmas is now around the corner and we are happy to announce that the 16th Daejeon International Christmas & Charity Social Party will be on the 21st of December, the Saturday before Christmas!
We are going to do a raffle and best Christmas costume events with prizes for winners of vouchers and two grand prizes of bottles of vodka! For those who wear any Christmas themed clothes, you are in for the chance to win a prize! There is no specific dress code for the best costume event. It could be any festive clothes, ugly sweaters, funny xmas clothes, santa or reindeer costumes or just your best outfit! The judges will be considering the theme, effort and style when selecting the winner. You could be the lucky person and have a lot of fun too!

Also, every participant will be given a discount coupon from our sponsors.

How to get to Dunsan: Take any bus in the direction of Timeworld or Galleria. Bus routes: 104, 106, 116, 211, 216, 301, 315, 318, 604, 605, 706, 911 and Express 3.

From Galleria Department Store: Walk straight with Starbucks on your left and Galleria on your right until you reach the second road on the left (right after The Coffee Bean).

Take this road and continue passed Caffe Bene. Take the road on the right after the large parking lot. Walk straight a little further and you will find Lady Pocha on the left, third floor, opposite a restauant named BonBon and above WoW bar. It will take approximately 7 minutes.


From City Hall Station: Take exit 2 or 3 and walk straight for 500m until you reach a large crossroad. Here you will find Galleria Department Store and Starbucks opposite you. 

Take the underground walkway to Starbucks and then walk straight with Starbucks on your left until you reach the second road on the left (right after The Coffee Bean). 

Take this road and continue passed Caffe Bene. Take the road on the right after the large parking lot. Walk straight a little further and you will find Lady Pocha on the left, fourth floor, opposite a restauant named BonBon and above WoW bar. This walk should take 20 minutes.

From Daejeon/Seodaejeon Station: Take a subway from Daejeon or Seodaejeon Station to City Hall Station. From here follow the directions as above to the party venue. In all it should take around 40-50 minutes to reach Lady Pocha from Daejeon Station.

Alternatively, take a taxi and tell the driver ‘Time-world-uh’. This will take you to Galleria, from here you can follow the directions as above.


오시는길: 둔산동에 WOW라는 바 3층에 Lady Pocha라는 큰 간판과 함께 이번의 파티 장소입니다. (다 혹은 네이버 맵으로 검색시 ‘둔산동 WOW’로 찾아주세요!)
대전 외부에서 오시는 경우 타임월드 혹은 둔산동으로 가는 버스를 타신후 타임월드 근처로 오신후에 반대편 번화가로 들어오셔서 Bonbon 맞은편에 파티장소가 있습니다.

Many people will be there so please smoke outside of the bar for our non-smoking friends. Please drink only as much as you can handle, and be thoughtful of others at the party.
