Quiet bar in Kyungsung

I'm looking for a quiet, well lit bar in Kyungsung that also has some decent beers available, either in bottles or on tap. Does anyone know of such a place?

Re: Quiet bar in Kyungsung

Ghetto?!

Just kidding. It depends on how you define 'quiet'. Low music? Few people?

I guess it depends on when you go as  alot of bars can be quiet during midweek and then transform at the weenend. Fully Booked seems like an obvious choice it's the bookshop cafe / bar it fits your criteria of 'well lit' and has OB Gold and San Miguel on tap as well as a good selection of bottled beers. It's also non smoking inside which may be a plus or minus point depending on what your vice is.

Re: Quiet bar in Kyungsung

"Quiet" means both low music and few people. Fully Booked is a good recommendation, thanks. I was hoping for a similar place with a little better beer on tap than OB and San Miguel, but that's probably hoping for too much. Any other recommendations?

I can think of several places that fit part of your criteria but not all. For example Radio bar is a pretty cool place. Has a couple of German beers on tap. It's a predominately Korean place and hence most people go there as groups, but there are seats at the bar if you wanted to go alone. The amount of people varies, but the atmosphere is usually low key and the music doesn't intrude. Although they do have a great vinyl and CD collection of classic stuff. The whole design and building is pretty neat as well. Especially the most awesome bathrooms in Busan!

There is also 'Chill' bar. It's owned by a foreinger and his wife, but not many foreigners go there. It's certainly quiet, although beer isn't much to write home about.

If you take the same street that goes to Fully Booked and take a left at the Long Island Ice Tea bar. The place is up that street on your right. Map here. You can move around on the map to get your bearings.

Dugout can be a pretty relaxing place during weekdays as well. Just across from the main Family Mart and Thursday Party. But again I can't recall any decent beers.

Not surprised about Chill Bar closing, it was too chilled! Golmok is the same place Radio bar is btw. Although looking at your picture did it change location? Used to be on the right of that store on the corner.

If we're talking about Cafe Radio (home to Wordz Only), then it's in the rectangle below, Golmok in the circle.  Golmok has a Western Bar, Makoli restaurant, tea house, and art gallery.
