So I'm new to Busan, but i know there area quite a few univiersities around and was wantiing to get a language exchange going, maybe even a club that rotated destiniation... I dunno, long story short, id like to practice korean while at the same time helping someone with their enlglish... What is the best way of going about that?
Thanks,
Anthony
Re: Language exchange?
Try Facebook groups like LZone, The Busan English Party, or Language Cast Busan. They meet regularly around Busan.
Re: Language exchange?
Is the LZone cafe / bar still open? For those who seriously wanted to learn I thought they had a great deal, you exchanged an equal amount of time teaching a group of Koreans English for one on one teaching with a Korean teaching you English.
The only downside to the place, for me, was that the times that Koreans were available for me didn't fit into my schedule, and I found the owner / manager a bit aggressively over friendly for my liking. But, maybe that's because of my style, and I know others who had no problems.
Anyhow if you don't know it, LZone is (was) across from the main Thursday Party in Kyungsung Dae on the third or fourth floor.
