Korean Language university programs

I'm looking at different programs to study Korean.

It seems that ALL of those I have looked at have winter quarters that start in early December and end in mid-February. Does that seem odd to anyone? My winter break just started (two weeks after their quarter begins) and my spring semester (which I assume is that same as the rest of the country) starts in March, two weeks after their quarter ends.

Same goes for their summer quarters. They start in early June and end mid-August, two weeks ahead of a normal semester schedule.

Is it my imagination of if they pushed the start and end dates two weeks, that many more people would be able to matriculate? I'd love to study Korean during the winter and summer quarters but their schedules make it flat-out impossible (unless I want to miss the two weeks of class, which we all know is the best thing a language student can do...har har har). anyway...

For those who have studied KFL, which uni here in Busan would you recommend? I've heard from several independent sources that Sogang is the best in the country for KFL, but I don't have the luxury of quitting my job and moving to Seoul to study Korean.

Also, I'm not sure if I've really found all of the KFL programs in town, so I'm open to any suggestions.

Thanks
