Getting from Busan to Jinha Beach, Ulsan

Hello,

I am trying to figure out the easiest way to get from Busan to Jinha beach in Ulsan. Can I take the slow train to Ulsan from Haeundae station? Or would an intercity bus be a better option? Thank you for your help!

Re: Getting from Busan to Jinha Beach, Ulsan

I was just there this weekend and although I drove, I would have thought there was an easier way. Ulsan is a massive city and traffic though Ulsan can be hell at the best of times.

I would have thought that getting a bus to Gijang and then a bus from there would be better. I will do some enquiries later and let you know.

Ulsan is not massive. Seoul or New York is massive.  There is a difference.  Chill-out, take a book and enjoy your ride to paradise beach.  It's fantastic!!!

Jinha is not hard to reach.  Take the orange gangnam express or blue/white bus from the intercity bus terminal near Haeundae Station.  Should leave every 20 minutes or so and take about an hour.  Around 5,000 won I think.

Good info Rutherford! Saves me doing any research.

I should have added in my original post that JinHa, like many beaches at this time of year is 'under construction' for the forthcoming summer season. Meaning that diggers are everywhere moving and adding sand around the beach.

It was also cold and windy last week. Actually it's almost always windy, probably why they held the World Windsurfing there!

That said, it's still a nice beach. If you have a tent there is a nice camping ground at the far south side of the beach. Prepare to battle for your space though!
