Earwax

Quick question - does anybody know any korean brand names of drops for my ears to get rid of the wax. In the U.K. we have earex but the wife swears no such thing in Korea!!!

Went to the ear doctor last time, turned out to be a quack, caused me a lot of pain and discomfort.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Earwax

depending on its size, a solution of alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and water - equal parts - might help you. use hot water to make the whole solution room temp. too hot or cold'll make you dizzy. using a large-sized syringe (or a baster ...all joking aside), inject the solution into your ear canal at moderate speed. if the thing's really occluding your canal, drip in a few drops of oil (mineral, baby, olive) for a few days before trying to soften it (any and all oil-based earwax solutions soften the thing up so it'll leave)

another thing that you can try's just letting warm water fill in your canal while you shower. again, if it's really stuck, again, apply oil to soften.

Re: Earwax

Bit late on replying on this, but the Good Gangan hospital has a pretty good ear doctor who speaks fluent English, I've used a couple of times in the past.

The hospital is at Geumnyeonsan subway, line 2.
