Hi,
I am looking to move out of the public school system and back to the hagwon system after working in the public school system for two years. I have only had to do a criminal record check once and was wondering if I would have to get one again from home, or should I do one from here?
The immigration websites have no information on foreigners who have lived here for a while so any information you may have would be good.

I don't know if you'll need a new background check. If you do, immigration will want a criminal record check from the country that issued your passport. Even if you've lived in Korea for years without setting foot in your home country, you need the CRC from home.
