can I use a prepay phone on my passort

Hi:

Finished teaching recently.

Tried to add minutes to my phone but was denied now that I'm in Korea on my passport and my ARC is cancelled.

Is it possible to get prepay phones on a passport (or better yet, continue to use mine)-

ur current service will not be interrupted as long as u continue to reload the balance.  however, in order to start a new line of service, an ID number, alien or national, will be required.
