Anyone know of a pottery studio in Busan where I could throw?

Hey, I've been in Busan about 11 months now and have decided to re-sign.  I've been without a pottery wheel and clay for about 11 months now and have decided that since I'm staying,  I'd love to find a studio to throw at or do slab work or just SOMETHING with clay.  Does anyone know of a studio that would be willing to let me work if I pay for materials and time (like a pottery guild in the states)?  Thanks for your help!

InLehmansTerms,

Did you ever get connected with a ceramics studio?  I just moved here a month ago and I'm interested in finding a place to make some pots.  I am curious if you ever visited either the Gwangalli or Haeundae studios?  Or found any other places for that matter. I'm not necessarily looking for classes, but rather studio time.. but I'll take either.

Honestly, no.  I went home for a couple months soon after posting and then have had financial issues which have kept me from looking.  I would like to connect to a studio in February.  I heard rumors that the one in Gwangali might have changed, but I'm not sure.   Anyway, if I get to one and check it out, I'll let you know.  Also, if you happen to find one, I'd love to know as well.

The place in Gwangali has closed. Later this week I'll contact the owner to find out if they relocated or what.

I just started taking pottery classes near the mouth of the Suyeong River across the river from Shinsagae Dept.Store. I paid 60,000 won for 4 lessons. I'm sure she'll let you throw there for some cash. Bring a Korean friend if you don't speak Korean, the lady there doesn't speak English at all.

Her number is 010-9320 5529.

There's also a place in Haeundae, I'm not sure where as I met the guy at his booth that was temporarily set up in Gwangali. I'll be checking his place out after the Choseok/Hangawi holiday. His number is 010-7167-1062. I'll keep ya posted on the Haeundae deal.....
