Hello,
My name is Meryem, i am 23 years old and i am from Morocco. I have a BA in English literature and i want to move to Korea but i couldn't find a teaching job since i'm not a native speaker. Please, could anyone help me out so that i find a non-teaching job. I would really appreciate anyone's help. I can also speak Arabic and French. I am really desperate.I will accept any job i am able to do any kind of work.
Thank you in advance.
Re: help finding a non-teaching job
Meryem-
I'm affraid if you can't speak Korean, it will be very difficult to find a job here. Unless you can go to a city that has lots of foreigners, and has lots of restaurants which foreigners go to. Maybe you can work there if you can speak English well enough.
Re: help finding a non-teaching job
Thank you for your reply :)
i am currently learning Korean i know the basics and i can manage myself well i suppose and i am very fluent in English i just got my BA in English literature.
If i go there as a tourist and get a job will i be able to change my visa? do i have any other options? please i really want to go
thank you
Re: help finding a non-teaching job
You could do a student visa. I believe you can work up to 20 hours a week. You can get a student visa for coming here to study korean. Check out some of the major universities for information.
