I am going to be leaving Korea soon after a year and a half. As many of you know, it's easy to acquire lots of stuff over that amount of time and although most you can sell or give away, some stuff you just need to bring back.
Someone told me that you can ship lots of stuff for cheap via cargo boat but it takes a while to arrive. I will be shipping mine to the west coast of the USA. The amount of stuff is significant, and I won't be able to do it via regular post (Large computer monitor, speakers, camping gear, espresso machine, etc.)
To anybody and everybody: There's a game of Ultimate Frisbee going down this Saturday (1/30) at 2 in Namcheon. There's already a thread going about this game but I wanted to put this up to remind anyone who's considering it to come out and have some fun. Don't worry if you've never played ultimate before, all skill levels are welcome.

The first running of the Busan Boshingtang Hash House Harriers was a roaring success. We had nearly 30 people show up, some as from as far away as Seoul!. So we're gonna do it again. The next running will be at the following location:

I was walking down the street today and saw a sign for Kim's English Books. She has lots of children's books, textbooks, books for teens, and a good selection of adult fiction and non-fiction. Her selection is comparable to Young Poong, Kyobo, or most other bookstores in the area. Her prices are pretty good, too. She also mentioned that she has a book borrowing system, but I didn't ask how that works.
Hopefully, the coldest days of winter are behind us! It's time to stop hibernating and start moving.
