What I did during my winter vacation

Celebrated a really wonderful Christmas in Seoul.

Started Geocaching.
Ate at Chili’s in Songtan.

Made salsa in a blender.
Made chicken porridge in a rice cooker.
Made chili in a crock pot.
Made beef stew in the crock pot, too!

Applied for countless jobs.
Had a few job interviews too.

Tackled difficult decisions such as, “How long can I wear these pajamas in lieu of clothes?,” “How long should I stay in bed today?,” “Why did my hot pack break?,” and “Why aren’t businesses open when I’m awake?”

Caught up on Glee and started watching Big Love.

Watched movies at home in the following order: The Heat, Die Hard, Elf, Starsky & Hutch, Blazing Saddles, Little Shop of Horrors, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, American Hustle, Raging Bull, Blackfish, Gravity, Don Jon, 12 Years a Slave, Elysium, and Prisoners.

Paid off a chunk of my student loan debt. Well, tried to. SallieMae incorrectly applied the large payment I made, but they told me to follow up in two weeks.

Saw the second Hobbit movie in the theatre.

Next year, I’m going somewhere warm.
