The UN Memorial Cemetery (재한유엔기념공원) in Busan is the only military cemetery managed by the United Nations anywhere in the world. The site is managed by the UN, but guarded by the Korean Army. It’s a reminder not to forget the catastrophic losses of the Korean War. It’s a beautiful park open every day of the year, just a 15-minute walk from Daeyeon Subway Station exit 3.
