KPop Stars Donating to the Relief Effort
You can be pessimistic if you want, but it doesn’t matter.  Hancinema.co.kr posted this article which basically shows that KPop stars are donating to the Japanese relief effort en masse. The generosity of Korean stars was even noted by Reuters, with the donation of Bae Yong-joon’s large donation of approximately USD 890,000 to the relief effort. You can say that these stars have made lots of money from their Japanese fans so they should give some back.  Nope.  To those that receive much needed aid, it matters more that people around the world are trying to do something, rather than to celebrate the calamity.

For common people without a spare KRW 1,000,000 to donate, try the Red Cross.
