Random pictures - part 31

A bevy of random pictures taken around Seoul / Korea for your enjoyment:

OK, seriously. The subway is zooming out of the water, while the ship would've killed the bridge. Photoshop FAIL.

Note the words "Gangwon Province Brings Happiness Back", then look at the bottom row for the picture of the DMZ. What the Kimchi? Sorry, but a Demilitarized Zone does not strike me as a place of happiness... The parks and forests, sure.

So let's take an engine, disassemble it, and display it in a glass cube - sure, why not? Actually, it's kind of fun to look at. Hongdae area, nearby a skin care shop.

Happy birthday to me! The Lady in Red threw me a quasi-surprise birthday party and invited several friends to join in the festivities. Yes, this is her homemade cake - and yes, if you would like one for yourself she's accepting orders.

A whole forest in the subway station. A welcome sight in an otherwise clean subway station (Jangji station).

Hmm... An egg vending machine... What could possibly go wrong here? Seen near Jangam station (northern terminus of line 7).

How does that thing balance again? To be fair, the older sign has had the other person removed from the sign (it's the same way on the other side). Found in an apartment complex near Nowon station (line 4/7).
