My students and I went on a field trip to see a “bubble show” performance. To a fun k-pop beat, this dude put on a fancy bubble and smoke show. The funny thing was that it was at Homeplus (홈플러스), a retail store very similar to (and modeled after) Tesco.

Several other schools were there, but I made sure my student, Albert, got on stage. I held him in my lap and shouted “요기요!” and “요기!” (here!) louder than all the other Koreans in the room. I think I seriously scared some of the kids in the room. It was worth it though! He was so happy to get his hat made out of bubbles!
