I met Simon and Martina from Eat Your Kimchi while transferring lines on the Seoul subway. These two are Korean expat celebrities. Their Youtube videos are a good source of entertainment and a Korean educational experience.

I was startled when I recognized them and couldn’t find the right words. I think I shrieked and made big hand movements. They were really, really nice. They took a dozen selfies (or selcas) with me, asked about who I was, and then we parted ways. So, for those friends back home who have asked, yes, Simon and Martina do really live here.
