Fisheries Museum, ATV's and Paintballing

Master Jun arranged for a great day today for the adults in his class as well as some of his younger students. We met in Jangsan and headed out to Songjeong Beach area where we spent the morning checking out the Busan Fisheries Museum. And despite it being completely in Korean I really enjoyed it. They had some good models showing fish farming and how mulloscks and seaweed is farmed in the ocean.

We then had a quick lunch, where all of the children seemed to give the adults (Brian, Dave, Kendall and I) lots of their snacks and food.

We then went to the paintball, or "survivor", place. There was a lot of waiting around because there were lots and lots of groups but it was probably the nicest day so far of the year and it was great to hang about.

The first thing we did was ride ATV's. And by "we" I mean the adults. I was a bit hesitant but after my first lap of the course I had a great time. The adults then took turns driving the kids around the course which was a lot of fun.

Then came BB-Gun target practice which was ok, nothing too special.

Then the highlight..Paintball! Ah, so much fun! We had two teams of about 20 a side (way too large for such a small space) but it was great. There were only a few adults and many kids, so the adults had a huge advantage. I did really well overall. I got lots of kids, and Jun and I had some epic battles (I won!! He's not so tough...haha). Paintball is something I'd love to go out and do again. SO much fun! It hurts when you get hit, but it beats using real bullets.

After we had dinner, where I ate way too much Som-Gep-Sul (BBQ'd bacon) and had a few drinks. Really really fun day!

Brian was a bit tired...
