I loves me some bacon~ so when I saw a bag of Korean Bacon Chips I sprung in to attack!

I had high hopes for this bacon snack, it sure looked yummy on the package!

Well here it is!

The verdict???  NOT YUMMY.  Basically this Bacon Chip was some sort of puff cheeto-like chip…almost like a pork rind, but without the flavor.  The flavor this Korean snack did have was some odd and very faint fake bacon-ish chemical taste… it was basically bland with an odd aftertaste of fake smoke that I found unappealing. The bacon stripes are not a flavor dust or anything, just sprayed on top which actually kinda put me off a bit… I felt like I was eating some kind of weird cereal.

Texture: ICK    //    Taste: ICK    //    Visual Appeal: spray tan on a chip.

Such a pity because they make some really good chips here, but this was so bland and the slight flavor it did have was just blah~ I could not even finish the pack, I just threw it away after eating a handful or two.

If you see this I suggest you save your money and try something else, don’t let the promise of bagged bacon trick you like it did me!
